The three production facilities of Rompetrol Rafinare operate under an integrated system, in full synergy, by offering a wide range of products. Thus, Petromidia refinery is one of the most complex refineries, reaching the highest yield of white products in the region, 85.55%wt, over 4 million tons of fuels/year.
Petromidia supplies the entire feedstock for the Polypropylene plant within the Petrochemical Division, which is the sole Romanian producer of polyolefins. The second refinery, Vega, receives the necessary materials from Petromidia, obtaining added valued products on the local and regional market. Vega is the only producer of bitumen and n-hexane in Romania, and one of the biggest exporters of n-hexan in Europe.
